Abiodun noted the importance of energy reforms in advancing economic growth. With the removal of electricity from the exclusive to the concurrent list, Ogun State passed the Ogun State Electricity Law.
The Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC) approved the transfer of regulatory oversight to the Ogun State Electricity Commission (OGERC). This reform empowers Ogun to regulate power generation, transmission, and distribution, strengthening economic growth.
