Developed by NNPC Upstream Investment Management Services, the PMCC enhances monitoring and operational efficiency across the sector. It consolidates real-time data, offering a unified platform to track hydrocarbon molecules from production to export. This approach aligns with President Bola Tinubu’s focus on boosting industry output and efficiency.
Chief Corporate Communications Officer Olufemi Soneye explained that the PMCC utilizes advanced technology to detect anomalies, reduce disruptions, and ensure seamless operations. It integrates data systems and analytics, empowering stakeholders with actionable insights for better decision-making.

The PMCC’s advanced technology also supports predictive and preventive maintenance. By monitoring equipment performance, it ensures asset reliability and minimizes downtime. Operating 24/7, the PMCC integrates cloud-based solutions to enable seamless data exchange with stakeholders. It connects to the Industry-Wide Security Command and Control Centre, enhancing the security of production operations.
Soneye highlighted that under Mele Kyari’s leadership, NNPC has increased production to 1.8 million barrels per day, with a target of 2 million bpd. The PMCC’s advanced technology is instrumental in achieving these ambitious goals.
